May holidays and summer vacations may affect processing at FMS

Dear Partners,

Kindly be advised that due to the recent May holidays and the forthcoming summer vacations the Federal Migration Service may occasionally delay processing of the urgent visa requests for FMS invitations.

The recent technical issues around the world are unlikely to make the situation better.

We assume that it is the urgent single and double business FMS visa support that may be affected. Single/double FMS visa support with regular processing periods, and multiple FMS visa support are expected to be processed according to the deadlines as usual.

Whenever possible, we urge you to opt for special tourism visa support, invitations on the letterhead of the Russian organisations, or that of the Russian Chamber of Commerce, and telexes. Otherwise kindly plan ahead in order to account for prolonged processing periods.
