Dear Partners,
June 12, 2019 is an official holiday in Russia. The Federal Migration Service and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be closed. All requests for Russian business watermarked invitations and telexes received on June 11, Tuesday will be lodged on June 13, Thursday.
The holidays will also affect the processing periods for invitations for business visitors, aircrew, drivers and technical personnel, so please consult the due dates calculated on the corporate interface for more information.
The requests for tourist vouchers, Russian business letters from authorized companies will be processed same day as usual by our team on duty.

Dear Partners,
Effective June 1, 2019, the FMS ceases to issue watermarked invitation with express processing. This concerns single/double invitations within 8 working days and multiple invitations within 12 working days.
These services will be no longer available on your partner interface. This will not affect the invitations that are already in process and they will be issued according to the deadlines provided to you by our Visa Department earlier.
The good news is that the FMS has announced that there will be the following services available as a telex directly to the consulate:
- Single / Double Entry FMS Telex* with 6 working days processing period
- Multiple Entry FMS Telex* with 10 working days processing period
* It will still be possible to obtain a watermarked invitation, should your clients require an original.

Dear Partners,
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has informed us today that according to their new regulations, watermarked and electronic FMS invitations for single and double entries with regular processing will now take 16 workdays to process, instead of 12 working days.
The new processing time is effective today. All applications that have been submitted before, will be processed according to the deadlines that have been confirmed to you.
The services in your partner account have been updated accordingly. Kindly pay attention to the ready dates as suggested by the system.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be closed on May 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and May 9, 10, 11, 12 2019.
No applications for telexes will be submitted on these days and no telexes will be sent out to the Russian consulates abroad.
- All requests received on April 30 will be submitted to the MFA on May 6.
- All requests received on May 8 will be submitted to the MFA on May 13.
Please note that since all processing periods are calculated in working days and not calendar days, they will be seriously affected by these bank holidays.
The Federal Migration Service will be closed on May 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and May 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 2019. The only working days during this period are May 6 and May 7.
No applications for watermarked paper invitations will be submitted and no ready invitations will be issued and handed out during the official holidays.
